This wall hanging is easy and fun to make, and would look great in any choice of fabrics. Go for a colour coordinated look, or make your birds in all the colours of the rainbow.
The birds would look great on pillows or table runners as well, like this one (pattern not included)

Ohhhh they are so cute! Thanks for another chance to win a pattern Nina Lise! Please put my name in the draw!
ReplyDeleteI think that just one little solitary bird will be lovely too. Or two facing each other. Or two big ones and a small as a new baby welcoming quilt. Loads of possibilities!
These birdies remind me of the movie The March of the Penguins!
P.S. My word verification was flight.... that must be a sign!
ReplyDeleteLove this pattern! Thanks for all the wonderfully creative quilts you do! I really enjoy following your posts. PiecefulDays@SquareSpace.com (soon to be just PiecefulDays.com)

I would love to have a chance to win the pattern. Please sing me up. It is incredible. How sweet of you to offer an English version as well as a Norwegain version. That is so thoughtful of you.
ReplyDeleteI linked you up in my sidebar, too. I can't resist spreading the word.

ReplyDeleteI don't think you are capable of making a design that I don't absolutely LOVE. I think these Birdies on their nests would look wonderful as a 'family tree' - with each family member's name on a nest (fortunately I have a fairly small family!).
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this pattern - thank you so much for your generosity!
